 YES residential | The YES and YES Events projects that are run from the YES are based on what young people want and need. Young people, like us, are positively taking an active role in projects we have created. This is one of the best things about the YES, as it gives young people the chance to do something about things that they feel strongly about and at the same time gain something for themselves.
As YES volunteers we care so much about the reputation and future plans of the YES because over the past 12 years its staff have instigated positive change for the young people of Dumfries through running events, counselling, workshops, training, volunteering, peer education and issue based youth work.
There are so many benefits of the YES. The service is well appreciated by everyone in Dumfries. We would all be lost without it. It is something to support you and in the times that you need it, something to fall back on.
